The '''Futuriser Cyprus Sep 2016''' meeting has taken place in Pyla between 31 August and 6th of September 2016. The key members have began their meeting on the 29th, planning the program and also starting the fire for the others to join in as they were arriving.

The original expectations for 4-5 countries and 30-40 participants were exceeded: representatives from 10 countries and a total number of participants exceeding 70.

The most fundamental skill is concentration power, or the ability to direct your attention to whatever you deem relevant. If you learn foreign language, do some tasks at job, or listen to your spouse, concentration will definitely help. But it will also help when you walk in a park, listen to the music, or make love.
In the workshop we will dive into some theory about why and how it works, explore simple neurophysiological mechanisms behind mindfulness, add two additional skills — sensory clarity and equanimity — and of course do many practical exercises to begin developing these skills."

My workshops focus on different methods of development of visual thinking and converting feelings, impressions, dreams and other irrational sides of personality into ideas and meanings ready-to-use in research and project work. This workshop is to explore and analyze possibilities and power of visual language as an instrument. First, we briefly study the basics of image composition which lead the idea to be expressed. Thus, we define the instruments of visual language. Then we take a sheet of paper and everything what is in front of our eyes and hands (paper, tape, office stationery, or sand and plants from beneath our feet – whatever) and create an abstract image based only on the composition principles to investigate if form can speak for itself.

In this workshop by Ivan and Victor, we will explore different practical ways of bringing mindfulness into the dialogue. We will learn to give space to people to be heard, to listen with full attention, to give ourselves time to actually interact and not react out of emotions or other automatic patterns of behavior. An SDD process begins with formulating a Triggering Question (TQ) to help participants stay focused on the issue they are discussing:

- What are shortcomings of current systems of education?

Participants will be asked to contribute ONE problem, shortcomings or other negative characteristic of today’s systems of education in a SINLGE SENTENCE. Following phases will support participants gradually construct collectively an INFLUENCE MAP. Shortcomings at the root are those that collective wisdom considers as ROOT CAUSES; they should be addressed with priority. The process will spread over two 4-h sessions, Friday and Saturday mornings and requires participation in both: Graduates are expected to apply acquired knowledge and skills in an SDD they will organize themselves in the following days.
