Nicolina has a BA in Education and a Masters in Human Rights and has worked as a teacher, trainer, project assistant, researcher and election observer in Cyprus and abroad. She has interned with the Cyprus Mission to the United Nations and the Fundamental Rights Agency of the European Union and has worked with the EU and the OSCE in election observation missions.

'''Marco De Cave''' joined the UNDEF project "Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era" as a Peer Empowerment and Support Mentor. He has a solid background in youth work as a trainer and a strong involvement in democratic issues.

Marco has a master in Peace and Development Work from Linnaeus University (Växjö, Sweden), and a Bachelor in International Cooperation from Sapienza University of Rome. He was a council state-man for youth in his town-hall for 3 years (2008-2011), developing programmes to include youth with fewer opportunities. He has worked with different NGOs (such as the Red Cross in Denmark and Italy, or the Italian national anti-discrimination youth association NeAR). He holds a diploma in web-reporting and in storytelling (National Federation of Unions of Writers). At the moment, he trains and prepares youth involved with Futuro Digitale association, his current main organisation. He is an activist in different fields, like anti-discrimination and environmental issues, poetry and social inclusion.

Ms. Susan Handa holds a master’s degree in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi. Her areas of interest include post-conflict reconstruction and development, fragility and fragile states in Africa, the eLearning Innovations Conference, conflict studies, research and diplomacy. She is fun loving, likes travelling, photography and socializing. She has worked in different organizations for the past four years at different capacities.
