Elina Antoniou holds a BSc in Science of Education - Preschool education (Universty of Cyprus) and a MA in Developmental and Therapeutic Play (Swansea University). She teaches in public kindergartens in Cyprus, while she collaborated with the University of Cyprus, the European University of Cyprus, OMEP Cyprus and the Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus, providing occasional lectures about Play, Learning, Development and Creativity. Since 2004 is an active member of youth organisations working on human rights, intercultural dialogue, environment and volunteerism. In 2010 she founded the youth organisation EVyouth - European Volunteerism for youth.
She has participated in 3 different SDDP sessions/conference, an area she is really interested in, since she considers SDDP a powerful tool for achieving active participation within any organised system.
