Launching pilots at FWC using the 7pi3 approach

Future Worlds Center has decided to take action and work towards improving the situation of IT in Cyprus. All international and European reports place Cyprus at the bottom of all rankings related to IT: Ability of students to program, Number of IT related companies, Percentage of GDP from IT related activities, General population knowledge about computers. This is really sad and embarrassing.

Future Worlds Center has taken a similar initiative in 1991 under the leadership of Yiannis Laouris. Between 1991 and 2002, an innovative curriculum was developed and applied in a chain of computer learning centers known as CYBER KIDS.

Following years of thought and preparations, the decision was taken to re-launch an analogous venture. Starting in Sep 2018 a pilot experiment was launched to validate a method that has been developed over the past few years and which was named 7pi3 Method.
