The Futuriser Cyprus Sep 2016 meeting has taken place in Pyla between 31 August and 6th of September 2016. The key members have began their meeting on the 29th, planning the program and also starting the fire for the others to join in as they were arriving.

The original expectations were for 4-5 countries and 30-40 participants) were exceeded: Representatives from 10 countries and a total number of participants exceeding 70.

Every participant in this meeting had at least three different roles:

  1. Initiator of heir own project
  2. Method: Supporter of and member of projects that were unfolding
  3. Participant in sessions of the event

Info Space - Media Promotion

Leader: Lika Chekalova Create common information space for all who participate in our events in order to facilitate information exchange and sharing of ideas with those outside. This can be realised through a number of projects and initiatives:

Eco-system - Integration Platform

Leader: Maria Rodionova, Ivan Ninenko Invent and design new systems that can connect the different models that exist in the world into systemic solutions that would allow to make education systemic within the complex system in which the whole world is immersed and not only within a university space.

Interactive Formats Group

Leader: Grigory Kushner A lot of people are talking about interactive formats, but when you come to the practice, like in a university or school context, courses are not so much "interactive". Different problems have different formats of interactions Course on "enrichment" A course for those facilitators working on various educational projects of various types (e.g.,, university professors and teachers) to enrich the repertoire of interactive formats that they can use in their teaching.

Location and Logistics

The meeting has taken place in the Facility of a new University campus of UCLANcy[1]. Accommodation has been secured at the University's dormitories, Ocean Appartments [2].
