What and How: What
Hi Yuannis, the description, used to introduce the project in WHAT and HOW: WHAT
Society2.0 is a research project for a new society, based on a new generation, learning and sharing of experiences with different generations. Inspired by what happend in the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. This former industrial city (Philips) transformed since 1995 into a 'Design Pearl' or ‘BRAINFIELD' of fresh and innovative idea’s from young professionals. The yearly Dutch Design Week www.ddw.nl is the podium to share these technical and social innovations with the world. The network of City Embassy’s in the Netherlands and Europe started 2 years ago to learn and share bottom-up results of urban changes in cities. In Society2.0 we will continue the research with practical topics ending in recommendations and adjustments for new and better policy for living cities.
